We Proudly Accept Delaware State Medicaid
At The Smile Place, we believe that every single child in our community deserves excellent dental health. No matter what your income bracket, no matter where you live, your children should be treated with respect, compassion, and kindness. That’s exactly what we provide to every child, to every family, to every individual who comes through our doors. But the positive experience doesn’t stop with our attitude. Every dental procedure we perform, from cleanings to full-mouth restorations, is completed with precision and excellence, every time. You deserve it!
Your First Visit Experience
Your first visit is a very important one: We will show you and your children around so you can meet the staff, learn where the restrooms are, find the games and refreshments, take a peek at our aquarium, and check out our fancy equipment. Please feel free to discuss any special needs your child has, ask any questions, or voice any concerns you might be having. We really want to get to know you and your children as friends, and we will never, ever treat you like a number. We are happy to treat children aged 0-20 years old.
Next, we will perform a comprehensive exam, take some digital x-rays, and clean your child’s teeth. If we find any problems like cavities or gum disease, we will discuss your options for treatment, insurance benefits, and scheduling. This is a good time to ask us any questions you have about the exam results, clarify special needs, and bring up financial concerns.
Most kids really enjoy the first visit and can’t wait to come back to see us again!
